Escort prices in the UK vary more by city than most people expect, and London isn't always the most expensive. We looked at the hourly rates of 29 UK providers on TrystHub as of October 2026. The samples per city are small, so the ranges tell you more than the exact middle. Here's what an hour costs in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield, what pushes the price up and what's legal.
How much does an escort cost in the UK?
Most UK providers on TrystHub charge between £300 and £600 for an hour, and the middle is around £400. The full range runs from about £120 to £1,500. The low end is mostly massage-focused profiles and quiet weekday incall, the top end is high-profile providers, some of them also known from adult film.
Escort prices by city
- London: £150–1,500 an hour, most £300–700, middle about £400
- Manchester: £650–900, middle about £750
- Birmingham: £300–550, middle about £500
- Leeds: £120–1,200, middle about £400
- Sheffield: £150–800, most £150–200
- Oxford and Cambridge: £200–300
Manchester coming out above London surprises people, but it's four providers who all sit in the upper half of the market. London simply has more choice at every level, from £150 incall to £1,500 with a well-known name. Sheffield is the cheapest big city on the list, with most rates under £200.
What pushes the price up
- Verification. On TrystHub the middle rate of ID-verified UK providers is about £650 an hour, for unverified profiles it's about £300. Verified providers are usually more established and get more repeat clients, so they can charge more.
- Profile and fame. Providers known from adult content charge the most: £800 in Sheffield, £1,500 in London.
- Outcall. Coming to your hotel or home costs more than incall, plus taxi or travel time, especially across London.
- Big weeks. Match weekends in Manchester, big conferences and events in London fill calendars, and rates and availability follow.
Very few UK providers list long bookings on their profiles yet. If you want a dinner date or a whole night, ask directly. Our guide on overnight escort rates explains how a night is usually priced compared to an hour.
Incall vs outcall in the UK
Incall at her place is the cheaper option almost everywhere. Outcall to a hotel is common in London and Manchester, but London hotels are stricter than most about registering overnight guests, so check the policy first. Our hotel etiquette guide covers how that works, and incall vs outcall explains the differences in price and safety.
What's legal in England
Paying for sex between adults is legal in England and Wales. What's illegal is everything around it: keeping a brothel (two or more people working from the same place already counts), street soliciting and kerb crawling, controlling someone's sex work for profit, and paying for sex with someone who has been forced or exploited. That last one is an offence even if you didn't know.
Northern Ireland is different: buying sex has been a crime there since 2015. In 2025 and 2026 Parliament also debated a ban on buying sex in England and Wales, read our article on the Crime and Policing Act 2026 for where that stands. For the full picture see our guide to escort laws in England. This article isn't legal advice.
Paying, deposits and scams
Cash in pounds is still the most common way to pay, handed over at the start without counting it in front of her. Some providers ask for a deposit for outcall, long bookings or a first meeting, and that's normal. What's not normal: a "booking fee" by gift card or crypto to an "agency" you've never heard of, or a rate far below the city's usual range. Our guide on escort scams lists the signs.
How UK prices compare
An hour in London costs about the same in pounds as an hour in a big US city costs in dollars, so with the exchange rate it's a bit more expensive. Germany is cheaper in most cities. See escort prices in the US and escort prices in Germany to compare.
How to book
Read the profile first, the rate is usually there. Then write a short message with your name, date, time, length, incall or outcall and the area. Don't haggle. Our guide on how to write a first message to an escort has an example.
