What ID Verified and ID Unverified mean
The badge on every profile comes from an independent KYC check: government ID, age and a live selfie match. Here is exactly what each status tells you before you book.
ID Verified
Identity confirmed by KYC
The account passed an independent identity check. Documents are processed by a licensed verification partner, not stored on TrystHub.
- Government document checked for authenticity β passport, driver's licence or national ID
- Age confirmed 18+ against the date of birth on the document
- Live selfie matched with the photo on the document
- Profile photos belong to the verified person β no stolen or borrowed pictures
ID Unverified
No identity check passed
The account has not completed KYC or the check is still in progress. It does not automatically mean the profile is fake β it means nothing has been confirmed yet.
- Identity not confirmed β the name and documents were never checked
- Age not confirmed against an official document
- No selfie match, so photos may belong to another person
- Higher risk of outdated photos, deposit requests and no-shows
KYC is performed by an external verification provider. TrystHub receives only the result of the check β documents are deleted within 24 hours and are never published or shared with other users.
