Stories of successful independent models who use platforms to build a career, study, or start their own business appear in media and break old stereotypes.
Berlin’s experience shows that a combination of technology, liberal legislation, and social support can transform a marginalized industry into a relatively safe, regulated, and economically significant segment of urban life. In the coming years, the role of AI, VR/AR, and blockchain solutions will only grow, and the Berlin model is already becoming a reference point for other European capitals.
